- Address employee relations issues in accordance with Human Resource policies, collaborating with HR when necessary.
- Assist in developing the center’s fiscal budget and strategic plan, including marketing initiatives to increase referrals, while ensuring team participation in achieving these goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and payers while coordinating the implementation of client-requested clinical programs.
- Review financial statements and performance metrics to ensure center profitability and address any weaknesses.
- Supervise Aide staff, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and manage patient scheduling effectively.
- Guarantee that the clinical team delivers top-quality care, facilitating skills development opportunities for staff and recognizing their contributions.
- Manage caseload effectively using available reports and maintain appropriate productivity and staffing levels.
- Conduct staff orientations and training to align with Hospital's clinical programs and operational goals.
- Identify staffing needs and collaborate with MCO/COD to recruit clinical personnel while structuring daily schedules to optimize patient care.
- Conduct timely Performance Planning and Reviews for center staff, focusing on attainable development goals.
- Approve and manage personal time off requests and bi-weekly payroll for the team.
- Ensure the clinic's overall cleanliness and appearance are maintained to high standards.
- Actively participate in bi-weekly meetings with CM/COD.
- Ensure compliance with Hospital policies and state, federal, and local regulations regarding patient care.
- Maintain employee medical files with current certifications and required documentation.
- Lead monthly staff meetings to share company updates, clinic performance, and discuss operational improvements.
- Ensure adherence to Medicare Rehab Agency Conditions of Participation and maintain updated operational manuals.
- Engage in the Quality Improvement Program, executing audits and developing corrective action plans as needed.
- Complete all mandated compliance trainings, clinic cleaning and maintenance logs, and emergency preparedness drills.
- Oversee annual safety inspections, fire safety protocols, and equipment calibration tasks.
- Comply with state Practice Act regulations concerning the delivery of physical and occupational therapy services.
- Evaluate patients and delegate appropriate skilled interventions as needed.
- Document patient progress and medical necessity clearly and promptly.
- Manage pre-certification and treatment extension documentation efficiently.
- Maintain respectful and open communication with all stakeholders, including co-workers and third-party payers.
- Complete ongoing education to uphold state licensure requirements and stay informed about recent developments in the field.
- Serve as a role model within the company and the profession, providing support to peers as needed.
- Maintain active state licensure and current CPR certification.
- Assist with center maintenance and customer service duties, including patient registration and scheduling.
