Job Description
Please note, this is a W2 hourly position. However, we are also open to considering engagement on a 1099 basis.
As a senior frontend developer, you'll contribute all aspects of the software development lifecycle, which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of innovative applications. You'll team with solution architects and developers on the translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design. We invite your thought leadership, business savvy, and ideas in this influential role where you’ll make recommendations for improvements and impact important technical decisions.

The Logic20/20 Digital Strategy & Transformation team applies design thinking and next-gen technologies to solve our clients- toughest business challenges. You'll work side-by-side with architects, managers, and engineering consultants to gain a 360-degree perspective of the challenge at hand while contributing your unique perspective to develop innovative solutions.
About you
- You value the customer experience and focus on what is possible versus what is standard practice in the industry.
- You have experience collaborating with UX/UI designers and can effectively translate UX/UI designs into functional and aesthetically pleasing web applications.
- You have excellent product instincts, a passion for great app experiences, a data-centric mindset, and the willingness to do what it takes to have a positive impact on our customers.
- You consistently ensure web standards are met and platforms are fully functional before delivery to clients.
- You have a passion for mobile apps and emerging technologies.
- You have proven expertise in industry SDLC best practices and delivery excellence.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience as a frontend developer building progressive web applications using JavaScript (ES6 ) and React.js, including hooks, context API, and component lifecycle.
- Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Redux or Recoil.
- Experience with AWS services, especially hosting applications on S3.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles and experience building mobile-first and cross-browser compatible applications.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs using technologies like Axios or Fetch.
- Proficient in using Git (or ADO) for version control, including branching strategies and pull requests.
- Familiarity with build tools, package managers such as npm or Yarn, and CI/CD processes.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Emergency Operation Centers (EOC) and/or first responders is highly preferred.
- Utilities industry and/or consulting experience.
Additional Information
At Logic20/20, we believe in recognizing and rewarding exceptional talent. Logic20/20 offers a competitive compensation package, with a target hourly pay range of $65 - $87 for this role. The final hourly rate offered is dependent on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Eligible employees may also qualify for performance-based bonuses and other incentives.
