Pay: $62,500/year ($30.05/hr)

Position Details
Tasks:
- Independently provide human resources support and guidance in a range of areas including but not limited to performance management, employee relations, leaves/accommodations, and benefits to ensure business decisions are compliant and effective
- Be responsible for all HR functions related to designated departments, including but not limited to:
- Reviewing documentation for legal compliance and effectiveness
- Updating and maintaining personnel files, HRIS profiles, and other relevant employee records
- Writing and maintaining job descriptions, career paths and performance metrics/policies
- Administering leaves programs in accordance with applicable federal and state employment laws (workers’ compensation, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
- Conducting workplace investigations surrounding claims of harassment, retaliation, and complaints
- Coaching managers who require training beyond what is outlined in internal resources
- Collaborate with peers and HR leadership on complex employment decisions to provide insight on how employment laws may impact the decision-making process; identify, investigate, and report compliance issues, irregularities, and violations to HR leadership
- Act as the first point of contact for benefit-related questions to help facilitate communication, act as a liaison between employees and insurance brokers to ensure timely resolution of any issues
- Update employee handbooks, policies, and other collateral to ensure correct information is available to employees and Logical Position staff remains in compliance
- Confirm all relevant documentation is received in a timely manner and employee privacy guidelines are followed consistently to enable accurate processing and mitigate litigation risks
- Understand the needs of various departments at Logical Position to determine the impact of leave decisions; suggest solutions and approve or deny cases based on relevant medical information, legal requirements, and business needs
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or equivalent experience
- 3 years of comprehensive HR experience
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to navigate change effectively and demonstrate resourcefulness in problem solving
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration and conflict resolution
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information
- Proven ability to work independently and in a timely manner
- Ability to translate complex legal-speak into clear, concise written and verbal communications
