What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customs Specialist US position at Logiqstar?
BE DIFFERENT, BE MPL
As customs specialist you are responsible for complying with all customs and federal regulations for air & ocean imports and exports. You prioritize work based on estimated time of arrival (ETA), product service level, workflow processes, last free day and transportation mode. Filing and revision of import customs entries. Prepare and review documentation according to applicable regulations and company’s guidelines. Create, update and bill orders following internal guidelines. You communicate with customers and other departments with focus on high customer service level.
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who has experience as customs brokerage entry writer as well as with general US customs, PGA requirements and federal regulations. Knowledge of ocean – and air imports and exports with focus on customs related procedures. You are a team player and want to develop yourself. Together we will create the difference against other logistics suppliers. You are PC Literate and are able to quickly learn new and custom-made operating systems. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
