As a Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of terminal equipment and structures. - Perform welding and metal fabrication (MIG, TIG, stick) on containers, equipment, and terminal infrastructure.
- Carry out structural repairs in accordance with safety standards and operational needs.
- Inspect welds and completed work to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
- Collaborate with mechanics, electricians, and terminal operations teams to coordinate repair and maintenance efforts.
- Operate material-handling and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support preventice maintenance schedules and respond to emergency repair requests.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
- Always follow Logistec's safety procedures, environmental policies, and core values.
Qualifications:
- 6 months minimum experience with Stick, MIG or Tack welding or similar
- Educational training may be substituted for work experience
- Understanding and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used for heavy industrial equipment repair and maintenance.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card (for more information visit the TSA website on TWIC requirements)
- Valid US driver's license
- Scheduling:
- Maintenance can expect shift work type scheduling including nights and weekends as needed.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- $20-$26/hr. Based on experience
- Regularly available over time

- All employees must pass a background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical and be able to obtain a valid TWIC card within a specified period of hire.
- Able to work in tight or closed-spaces
- Able to climb stairs and work at various heights
- Able to lift 25-50 lbs. unassisted and regularly. Other duties as assigned by management.
