We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team on a government campsite. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to safety. This role is essential in supporting various operations within our facility, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
*Please be informed that our main office is located in Miami, Florida. However, our camp locations are based in Texas. The hiring process will be conducted virtually, with the exception of a mandatory on-site observation with the hiring manager.
Duties
- Be comfortable working outdoors and performing tasks at heights of 50' to 100'.
- Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to fabricate parts as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on tenting equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Support warehouse operations, including loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize forklifts for moving heavy materials when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize man lifts and boom lifts for tent installation.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labor setting is preferred.
- Have a bank account for weekly direct deposit.
- Familiarity with assembling structures is advantageous.
- Must have a clean driving record and have no criminal history.
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- Ability to pass and maintain a national background check.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
*As our company collaborates with the government, a national background investigation through border patrol will be conducted. This check will investigate any debts, including but not limited to outstanding child support, unpaid debts, and traffic violations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180.00 per day
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
