What are the responsibilities and job description for the FedEx CDLA Driver position at Logistics Co?
We are currently hiring for 2 routes out of Terre Haute, IN for a FedEx Ground Contractor. Pay $0.65cpm.
· Daily runs Monday- Friday
· Dispatch 9:00PM, usually back 5AM
· Runs are all drop and hook with no loading or unloading of freight
· Double trailers –doubles endorsement needed
What We Offer:
· Our tractors are newer models, 2017 or newer, and have automatic transmissions.
· We offer a competitive per mile pay rate of $0.65 per mile.
· We offer a 6th day bonus.
· We provide breakdown pay of $20.00 per hour for every hour that a driver must wait.

· We offer Paid Time Off that accrues at: 1 PTO day every month accrued days can be
accessed following 90 days of employment.
· We provide sick pay of 2 sick days every 3 months up to 8 days for a full calendar year.
Driver Qualifications:
· Drivers must have a Class A Commercial Drivers License, (CDL)
· Drivers must have 1 year of commercial driving experience in the past 3 years or 3 years
of experience in the past 5 years.
· Clean Driving Record
· Must be able to pass a background criminal check.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and routes.
- Utilize manual transmission and operate various trailer types as required.
