We are seeking part time and full time Refurbishment Technicians.
Refurbishment technicians inspect, test, and repair returned merchandise so the items can be resold. As a refurbishment technician you will carefully check each product for any signs of use or damage, test all advertised features and functions, and document your findings. This often includes replacing damaged packaging or missing components, resetting electronics to factory defaults, and light cleaning or repairs.
LDR works with a wide range of products including consumer electronics, office equipment, network appliances such as switches and routers, musical instruments and mixers, clothing, and more. Refurbishment technicians must be willing and able to adapt, problem solve, and research product information.
Refurbishment technicians may also be required to perform light warehouse work. This mostly involves putting items into storage, keeping spare parts organized, and assisting with package deliveries.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Refurbish returned products according to our customer’s requirements.
- Follow standard processes and procedures, and keep them up to date when new situations happen which aren’t covered by an existing process.
- Clearly document the work being done, including what has been done to an item and why, how long the work took, and any problems encountered.
- Maintain control of inventory using a computerized inventory management system and barcode scanner.
- Keep work area neat and organized.
- Read and update a computerized ticket system for tracking projects that need to be completed.
Requirements:
- Experience with help desk support, electronics repair, or computer troubleshooting are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to research and solve problems independently
- Clear typing skills, as you will need to type notes and comments about items you service.
- Must be able to see and read clearly, including the ability to clearly identify and distinguish between colors.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 3 or more hours at a time.
Major plus:
- Prior experience with ecommerce, such as selling on eBay or Amazon.
- Any industry certifications such as A , Network , or CCNA.
- Experience with computer programming, especially Javascript and/or PHP.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
