Responsibilities

Develop and apply analytic methodologies and principles, including data mining, text analytics, business intelligence, modeling data, qualitative, quantitative, and data visualization, in support of ongoing initiatives.
Have data analysis experience and assist in the application of analytic techniques and provide recommendations for objective and strategic direction.
Assist in resolving complex problems which require in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles.
Assist in analyzing acquisition data and formulate recommendations.
Design and develop materials, evaluating the effectiveness in accordance with stated Guidelines, Directives, Standard Operating Procedures, specifications, and models.
Assist in conducting research, data gathering and technical reviews. Produce written deliverables to include reports, spreadsheets, databases, formal process, mapping, technical design and system testing and implementation activities.
Utilize MS Office products, including Project

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years in data analysis / visualization

Experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles, including data mining, text analytics, business intelligence, modeling data, qualitative, quantitative, and data visualization, in support of ongoing initiatives.

Have demonstrable data analysis experience and assist in the application of analytic techniques and provide recommendations for objective and strategic direction.

Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders

Ability to demonstrate initiative and effectively solve problems

Strong communication skills, both oral and written

A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment

Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications

Preferred :

Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation is a significant plus.

Previous work formulating or executing CBP budgets.

Relevant certification(s) such as : CGFM, CDFM, PMP, CFCM, and / or CPCM
