LMI is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to support the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) at our office in Colorado Springs, CO.

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure full-stack web applications.
- Architect and implement front-end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Develop and optimize back-end services, APIs, and microservices.
- Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Lead software development best practices, including code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
- Implement cloud-based solutions and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploy applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong back-end development skills with Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or .NET.
- Experience with database design and optimization using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Git, and Confluence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government Top Secret security clearance, for which one must be a US citizen.
Desired:
- 10 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Background in orbital mechanics, space situational awareness, space based environmental monitoring, or space control.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with STK, SOAP, AFSIM, or other space analytical tools.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other relevant technologies.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Target salary range: $104040 - $183600. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
