Reverse Logistics Engineer

About the Role
Logistics Plus is seeking a Senior Reverse Logistics Engineer to ensure that serviced client hardware products meet customer specifications and quality goals. This role requires a hands-on professional with experience in hardware manufacturing and a strong background in quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in a supervisory role, with the ability to monitor and hold Authorized Service Providers (ASPs) accountable to client standards, processes, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide service partners (ASPs) to ensure compliance with established guidelines, processes, and standards.
- Troubleshoot technical and process issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee product repair and assembly processes, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Execute on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects as required for product launches.
- Collaborate with the Incoming Inspection team to establish and optimize inspection processes, including installing and troubleshooting testing equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis and apply data-driven methodologies to resolve process issues.
- Review and improve processes, systems, and procedures to drive operational efficiency.
- Work with internal and external teams to track product quality issues and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize production conditions.
- Monitor station- and operator-level data to identify yield challenges and drive improvements.
- Coordinate with device carriers to align on testing methodologies.
- Conduct periodic Parts Quality Audits at vendor facilities.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, process development, or reverse logistics.
- Strong experience in third-party production quality and process management.
- Familiarity with service operations environments, reverse logistics, or RMA processing.
- Supervisory experience with a proven ability to enforce compliance and accountability among service partners.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
