Job Description
Job Summary:
The Routing & Planning Analyst I will support the engineering and planning side of Logisticus Projects Group on route feasibility assessments and projects, including travelling to project sites across the US to vet potential routes and transport risks, contacting state/government offices to vet possible transport restrictions, and utilizing Microsoft office to compile reports outlining possible risks to the project.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interaction with DOT entities and customer representatives.
- Fundamental knowledge of permitting and escorting requirements state by state.
- Ability to formulate reports utilizing PowerPoint with limited supervision.
- Support the LPG team on routing/government related issues which may arise.
- Fundamental knowledge of industry related information and technologies, including WTG components, trailer configurations, and OEM sourcing strategies.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to formulate report documents for route feasibility studies.
- New hires must pass FAA 107 unmanned aircraft exam, gain experience configuring and operating drones with limited supervision to support project requirements as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 3 weeks per month in 3–4-day stints for field work and data collection as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely when traveling.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- No industry-related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
- Must be able to rent vehicle for project related travel.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
