Job Summary: As a Project Coordinator at LogistiQ, you will support the planning, execution, and completion of projects. Reporting to the Project Manager II, the Project Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring project tasks are executed efficiently, timelines are maintained, and communication flows seamlessly among team members and stakeholders. This role is ideal for candidates looking to deepen their project management expertise while contributing to the success of meaningful projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Support: Assist the Project Manager’s in planning, tracking, and monitoring project progress, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, and action item logs. Provide regular updates to the Project Managers and stakeholders.
Task Coordination: Assign and follow up on tasks with team members to ensure deadlines are met. Identify and escalate potential delays or issues.
Communication: Act as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries, facilitating communication among team members and stakeholders.
Resource Management: Help manage project resources, including scheduling meetings, booking materials, and coordinating logistics.
Risk Monitoring: Track potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet established quality standards and expectations.
Process Improvement: Suggest and implement enhancements to improve project workflows and team efficiency.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- There are no supervisory responsibilities.
Travel Demands:
- The role may require occasional travel to project sites across regions and may involve exposure to industrial environments, including moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels. Compliance with proper safety standards per OSHA regulations is mandatory.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination or similar role.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
- Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM) is a plus.
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g., manufacturing and sales) relevant to the organization’s projects.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment:
- The work environment is pleasant, temperature controlled, professional office environment in a manufacturing setting. The employee works in an office setting but does have frequent interaction with the shop floor. On the shop floor, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is mixed and the air temperature fluctuates with the seasonal weather.
