Our manufacturing client is seeking a Technical Specialist to join their team on an open-ended contract at their facility.

Location : Fully onsite in Pittsfield, NH
We seek a dynamic Technical Specialist contractor with strong technical knowledge and the aptitude to excel in a fast-paced desktop support environment. The role involves assisting various teams, including engineering, production, and office departments, with their PC needs. Candidates must possess key knowledge of PC operating systems, wired and wireless networking, peripheral support, and substantial software troubleshooting skills. The duration of the contract is open-ended for the time being and will be reviewed in 90 days. It is not a temp to perm position. Description of Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of PC hardware and software applications for associates.
- Support Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows 11 and 10, and Microsoft Applications in a corporate environment.
- Support iOS devices such as iPads, iPhones, and Mac PCs.
- Assist with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wireless Networks, and TCP / IP protocols.
- Provide support and administration for Microsoft 365 and knowledge of Intune.
- Offer mobile device support.
- Manage work using the Jira issue tracking database and utilize it to analyze trends, recommending actions to reduce incoming issues.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential customer service problems.
- Recommend and implement necessary changes to improve departmental processes and procedures for better customer service.
- Manage projects and provide input for the development of global standardizations.
- Support SAP, VPN, Two-Factor Authentication, software deployment tools, and PC encryption.
