Our client, a leading international law firm based in California, is seeking a full time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join their team.

The Director, Enterprise Cybersecurity Identity and Access Management (IAM) is responsible for providing leadership and subject matter expertise for identity related solutions in the company, as well as developing IAM security capabilities to include credential management, identity provisioning, access provisioning, privileged account management, enterprise authentication, identity federation, and identity storage and enterprise certificates.
In this capacity, the Director, Enterprise Cybersecurity IAM will:
- Facilitate the design of enterprise identity management solutions and supported access governance;
- Identify and implement solutions for IAM process improvement and increased efficiencies; and
- Manage IAM strategies by focusing on areas like Access Management (AM), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Entitlement Management and Directories.
In addition, the Director, Enterprise Cybersecurity IAM will be expected to:
- Facilitate architecture for IAM solutions and systems to enable User Life-Cycle Management, Identity and Access Governance, Automated Provisioning, Single Sign-On, Federation, Privileged Account Management;
- Work with product, engineering, security, and operations teams to design, develop, and implement IAM solutions;
- Develop deployment and implementation methodology and standards consistent with vendor best practices;
- Transcribe and present technical information to business executive levels;
- Lead the analysis and design of IAM solutions and related technologies; and
- Communicate security strategy and drive the standardization and consistent application of security principles to all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree;
- Proven experience in a similar role such as experience gained in an Information Technology or a Managed Services environment;
- At least 10 years of broad range of Identity and Access Management experience, ideally in the Information Technology or Information Security sector;
- At least 10 years of information technology experience;
- At least 10 years of supervisory experience;
- At least 10 years of executive level engagement and customer service;
- At least 15 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment;
- Expert knowledge of project management best practices;
- Advanced knowledge of software development procedures and tools;
- Advanced knowledge of identity and access management industry standards and best practices as well as regulatory trends; and
- Working knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and ISO 27001/2.
- SailPoint & Okta experience are REQUIRED
