This Role:
The Analyst II will assist in improving the efficiency of operating information systems, the quality and integrity of the data that is shared with other business partners. The Analyst II is expected to work independently with minimal supervision to accomplish assigned tasks and projects. They should serve as a mentor to the EDI Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in analytical EDI projects
- Assist Senior Analysts/Team Lead with maintaining day-to-day operations as needed
- Take escalations, diagnose file issues and provide resolution
- Work with payers to establish proper file formatting
- Work with EDI Lead Analyst and/or Manager in testing new EDI processes
- Oversee and mentor EDI Analyst
- Perform ongoing research; recommend opportunities to expand transaction sets across payers or modernize technology based on industry trends

Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and MS Word required.
- Must be organized and have a strong and detailed knowledge of ANSI 5010 837P, 835, 270/271, 276/277 files
- Must possess mentorship skills to work with EDI Analyst
- Must have a professional phone demeanor
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work closely with and take direction from management
- Ability to learn new software and techniques and convey them to team
- Ability to add, to subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Two years related experience including experience with ANSI 5010 837P, 835, 276/277, 270/ 271 files preferred
