Electronics Technician level II personnel shall perform routine tasks such as removing and replacing defective parts and assemblies identified by higher level workers. Contract employees shall have a basic, working knowledge of electrical and electronic theory as well as knowledge of electronic principles such as micro-miniaturized digital and solid-state integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, tube circuits, antennas, signal transmission, oscillation, and amplification.
LOGMET employees will be familiar with soldering techniques, and be able to become high-reliability solder certified by the Government. LOGMET employees wil possess a basic working knowledge of unsealing, sealing, glass replacement, leak test, purge and fill and fog test of hermetically sealed aircraft instruments by use of : Media Blast Booth Enclosed Chamber, Induction Coil Heater, High Wattage Soldering Iron, Hot Plate, Environmental Chamber Vacuum Oven, Two Part Catalyst Sealants and Basic Hand Tools.
LOGMET employees will possess the ability to distinguish basic colors and distinguish shades of colors.
LOGMET employees will perform depot-level electronics maintenance tasks IAW Air Force Technical Orders (TO's), drawings, diagrams and Work Control Documents (WCDs).
LOGMET employees will complete all work cards / tasks IAW the stated job standard, technical order, and all referenced directives. LOGMET employees will follow all specified directives for closing out work cards and completing WCDs. LOGMET employees will follow all technical, quality, and safety guidelines in performance of their duties as established by the PAC Standard.
Electronics Technician Level II employees must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. LOGMET employees will perform routine tasks such as removing and replacing defective parts and assemblies and may be required to provide technical assistance to Electronics Technician I employees. LOGMET employees will have an intermediate level of knowledge of electrical and electronic theory as well as an intermediate, operational knowledge of electronic principles such as micro-miniaturized digital and solid-state integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, tube circuits, antennas, signal transmission, oscillation, and amplification.
