We are looking for a .NET Developer to join our team.
We want someone with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience with the mindset to help bring some of our development initiatives in-house. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, VB, ASP.NET Core web framework, SQL scripts and experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC). You will be responsible for helping develop, update and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet our needs.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- This position will require working full-time in the Franklin, TN office.
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core and SQL.
- Design and implement APIs to support various functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Develop and implement security best practices in development.
- Work closely with 3rd party vendors to document, organize and update existing code base from previous and ongoing outsourced projects.
- Help bring more development initiatives in-house and build out a framework for all future development and code review.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in web application development using C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and experience in API development.
- Proficient in front-end and back-end development
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Strong focus on security best practices in application development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of unit testing, code review processes, and maintaining high code quality.
