We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal components. Key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, setting up welding equipment, and ensuring welds meet quality and safety standards. The role requires proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, along with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Previous experience and relevant certifications are preferred.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine welding requirements and specifications.
  • Move parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.
  • Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, hand tools, and plasma cutting.
  • Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure 5s safety.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress, issues, and requirements
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Welding Certification or relevant experience required.
  • Ability to perform MIG welds are required - Must be able to pass a test.
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3G Welding is a plus
  • 5 years of Stick and MIG welding experience


Travel Requirements:

  • None


Physical Requirements

  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material (70lbs) or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Work Environment

  • Use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
