We're excited to offer an opportunity for a talented Sushi Chef to join our team in Nantucket, MA. In this role, you'll be an essential part of our kitchen, working closely with our Executive Chef. Your tasks will involve assisting with menu development, creating high-quality sushi dishes that are as beautiful as they are delicious, and maintaining smooth kitchen operations while adhering to our high standards. You'll need to navigate challenges with resourcefulness, maintain safety and sanitation standards, and work cooperatively with colleagues and customers.
The ideal candidate should have proven sushi chef experience, familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures, and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate and benefits including a 401(k), 401(k) matching, and health insurance. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of culinary experience and be available for different shifts, including day, evening, night, and weekends. This job requires working every weekend, with additional weekdays and weekends as needed.
