Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Guest Care & Salon Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role blends guest relations and salon support to ensure a seamless and exceptional experience for our clients while assisting in the smooth operation of the salon. You’ll be an integral part of helping Lola Hair Studio achieve its goals and benchmarks while promoting our core values and contributing to our continued growth and success.

Additionally, this role offers growth opportunity tracks based on performance, allowing you to develop in either guest care/administrative support or as a hair stylist, depending on your skills and interests.

Salon Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist stylists by prepping clients for services (e.g., shampooing, applying treatments).
• Keep stations and tools sanitized and organized, adhering to salon hygiene standards.
• Ensure the salon is clean, organized, and well-stocked, including tracking and replenishing inventory.
• Help maintain smooth service ?ow during high-traffc periods by anticipating the needs of stylists and clients.
• Adhere to weekly front desk and cleaning task lists, ensuring the salon is always in top condition.
• Collaborate with management on various projects during slower times to support salon initiatives.
• Attend and actively participate in salon education, events, and team
• Support the salon’s growth and goal achievement by contributing to benchmarks for client retention, service excellence, and retail sales.
• Be open to embracing new tasks and responsibilities that may arise as the salon grows and evolves.

Growth Opportunities:

• Guest Care/Administrative Support Track: As you demonstrate excellence in client relations, organization, and salon management, you will have the opportunity to advance into higher-level administrative or guest care roles, helping to manage salon operations or client experience on a larger
• Hair Stylist Track: If you have a passion for hair and express interest in developing your technical skills, you will have the opportunity to grow into a stylist Training and mentorship will be provided to support your transition into o?ering services behind the chair.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a salon, spa, or customer service environment is
• A passion for the beauty industry with a desire for continued learning and
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, positive
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced
• A self-starter who is proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented
• Willingness to assist with additional salon tasks and responsibilities as the business grows and evolves.
