Position Overview
We’re seeking a results-oriented National Accounts Manager with a strong background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) to manage and grow relationships with key national accounts such as Kroger, Kohl’s, Vistar, Sam’s Club, Costco, and Cracker Barrel. This role will work closely with brokers and distributors, manage trade show engagements, and lead the charge on account growth, merchandising strategy, and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth
- Maintain and grow an existing book of national accounts with a focus on revenue and margin improvement
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at brokers, distributors, and retail partners
- Uncover and respond to client needs through proactive, solutions-oriented communication
- Develop and execute customer-specific business plans and promotional strategies
- Collaborate with leadership to define and implement channel-specific go-to-market strategies
- Leverage sales data to create compelling, insight-driven selling stories
- Identify opportunities and challenges within accounts and tailor approaches to maximize performance
- Forecast sales and contribute to overall planning and budgeting efforts
- Partner with product and marketing teams to bring new items, packaging, and promotional concepts to market
- Lead new item launch planning and execution for assigned channels
- Provide input on market trends, packaging formats, and merchandising needs
- Represent the brand at relevant trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
- Manage trade show lead follow-up and convert leads into meaningful business opportunities
- Assist in the planning and execution of internal sales meetings
- 3 years of experience managing key accounts in the CPG industry
- Proven success working with large national retailers and distributors
- Strong understanding of broker partnerships and distribution networks
- Proficient in sales analytics and forecasting tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in the confectionery, snack, or grocery category
- Background in product innovation and category management
- Trade show management experience
- Highly adaptable and comfortable in a growing, evolving organization
