Sunbury Client #1 : We currently need overnights for every other weekend preferred shift is 11:30 pm to 6:30 am.
Northumberland Client #2 : We need multiple shifts throughout the week depending on the day as follows.
- Monday and Wednesday 10am to 2pm
- Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am to 6pm
- Saturdays 10am to 2 pm
- Sunday 9am to 1pm
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Conduct patient observation to monitor changes in health or behavior and report findings to healthcare professionals.
- Implement memory care techniques for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and enhancing daily living skills.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
Skills
- Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care or patient care is preferred.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements of clients.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with memory care strategies and techniques for individuals with cognitive challenges.
- Strong observational skills to identify changes in client conditions effectively.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact compassionately with clients and their families.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
