What are the responsibilities and job description for the Co-teacher position at Lollipop Stop Child Development Center?
We are looking for people who love to teach children!!
We are looking for an experienced individual who will be able to help the children enrolled at our facility learn and develop appropriately.
This is a 12 month position. Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm with an hour lunch break. You are not required to stay on the property during your lunch break.
You would be responsible for:
providing nurturing care to children in a group setting
changing diapers/pull-ups if necessary. Helping to potty train some children
Implementing the lesson plans that are provided
Supervising free play and engaging in developmentally appropriate educational actives with the children
Maintaining a clean and safe indoor and outdoor environment
Completing all required documentation throughout the day
Communicating regularly and professionally with the parents
Communicate and collaborate with other child care educators in the facility
Participate in all required trainings
Engage with Smart Start of Forsyth County in evaluations and be able to take constructive criticism
Educational and Training qualifications:
*At least credentials plus 2 classes in Early Childhood Education or be willing to go back to school
*Have/get SIDS
*Have/get CPR and 1st Aid
*Have/get a qualifying letter( criminal background check and fingerprints)
*Have/get a current TB test
*Have/get a physical
Pay is based on education and experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour
