What are the responsibilities and job description for the Generalist position at Loloft?
Our Location lead for Rogers is an operator and generalist, in nature and scope. You’re customer facing, willing to roll your sleeves up and do what it takes to get the job done no matter what the task is. No task is too big, or small. Member advocacy is at the center of your role, and you know what it takes to lead, execute and operate your day to day to meet your stakeholders needs.
This is a stand alone role that will be hands-on in ensuring members needs are met. You will do both physical work (heavy lifting, handyman tasks) and customer facing work (sales, service, hospitality, reception/admin tasks) to ensure the success of the location. This is no easy feat, and needs a flexible operator who wants to own and forge their career path with us,
Each day will be multifaceted, and new challenges and unfamiliar ambiguous asks will require you to think on your feet, build as you go and come up with scalable solutions working with budget restrictions and tight deadlines. There are no direct reports for this position - you will be operating on your own, and will do physical work, client work inc. sales, admin, marketing and errands as needed.
Front of house duties:
- Meeting and greeting our members daily; managing written and also verbal communication when packages are recieved
- Delivering mail, freight and deliveries to units as deliveries arrive between 9am - 5pm (upselling this service to members)
- Facilitating our SOP Mail service for LegalZoom
- Conducting location tours for prospective members and matching our products to their needs; selling membership plans (sales quota assigned) and ancillary services to prospective members
- Resolving day to day member issues and resolving ticket enquiries (owning and driving what’s needed end to end to make what is needed happen)
- Overseeing event bookings, conference room bookings and site inquiries
- Updating operational manuals, workbooks, process documents, compliance documents and ensuring documentation is up to date
- Overseeing the local member experience and ensuring a harmonious experience for all
Back of house/ operational duties:
- Managing stock and inventory orders to keep site in good standing and operating smoothly. This includes making coffee, and facilitating our member experience days.
- Updating all collateral and member directives/ signs
- Working with tight budgets; researching local market vendors for the best possible deals for supplies
- Conducting handyman tasks ad-hoc/ as needed including moving furniture, fixing technical issues, assembling items, decal sticker installs, door handle mechanism swap outs, pest control services, taking care of the building and facility needs.
- Running errands as needed day to day around NWA
- Lite janitorial work: daily bathroom maintenance, dishwasher, removing trash to the dumpster day to day, emptying out the refrigerator, cleaning up after members use a space
We’re looking for:
- Accountability: you think like an owner and act as an operator; you are flexible at rolling your sleeves up to get a task done regardless of what it is - you make it happen
- Logical and rationale thinking ability inc prioritization skills: you know what it will take to make an idea reality and the steps to getting the task complete keeping those impacted in the loop because you are a strong communicator
- Strong customer focus, sales aptitude, problem solving abilities and proactive solution orientation
- You have an eye for detail - recognizes the importance of data accuracy and facts - and leverages these details to drive action and outcomes. You love deadlines and details.
- Technically savvy: Archie, Hubspot, Google for Work, Office, Excel, Canva, WhatsApp, MAC OS Windows OS knowledge
- Heavy lifting and IT trouble shooting (can lift up 50lbs and use warehouse equipment, inc ladders)
- Excellent English Spanish language abilities (written and spoken)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 50 per week
