What are the responsibilities and job description for the Anesthesiologist - RUHS position at Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group (LLUFMG)?
Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Community Partnership - Anesthesiology is seeking Anesthesiologists to join their team at Riverside University Health System (RUHS).
RUHS in the heart of beautiful Southern California in the area known as the Inland Empire, situated conveniently halfway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Our location places us within one hour of surfing at the beach, camping in the desert, skiing in the mountains, or catching a play in Los Angeles. There are six major airports within an hour's drive.
The practice is largely adult cases including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, OB/GYN, Vascular and thoracic. The practice is planning to add a surgical center with 4 additional operating rooms as well as adding some uncomplicated pediatric surgery cases. The practice does not perform cardiac cases at all. The ideal candidate would be a team oriented physician who is interested in resident education. Performance of regional blocks would be a plus.
The candidate will provide 1 in-house call every week and only one weekend every month. Compensation and calls are distributed fairly from the start. We plan to have two people on call overnight once fully staffed to share the load.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only based on a 1.0 FTE, and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $400,000- $438,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
