What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Surgery - Training Year position at Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group?
Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team.
This opportunity includes 1st or 2nd assistant for all thoracic surgical procedures (both adult and pediatric), bedside assistance in robotic procedures, wound closures, suturing, chest tube insertion / removal, preoperative and postoperative management.
Specific Job Duties
- Regular work hours are Monday through Friday
- Weekend call will be a minimum of one weekend per month
- Must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA-C)
- Must maintain BLS and ACLS certification
- Must be licensed by the California State Physician Assistant Board
- Will be a part of quality assurance conferences
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and / or faculty rank : $110,000 - $150,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
