Shared Services : Lock and Key- (Full-Time, Day Shift) -
Job Summary : The Supervisor-Lock and Key overseeing the day to day operations of Lock and Key and is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and managing all access control programming, projects, and service work. Oversees badge programmers, formulates a process with office staff to coordinate a smooth flow of service orders and critical information required for staff to perform their duties efficiently and in compliance with standards of LLUH. Develop budgets and provide coordination for projects requested and serves as a adviser to LLUH Administration and departments. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience : High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum six years experience in Locksmithing, Access Control or related field required.
Knowledge and Skills : Extensive knowledge of Locksmithing. Knowledge of electronics standards, low voltage standards and access control system management. Extensive knowledge of NFPA80, 101, & 105. ANSI A156.10 & A156.19, CBC Chapter 10, Title 24. Knowledge of door and hardware manufacturers, installation methods and Inspection methods and requirements for fire door. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate / troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
Licensures and Certifications : Minimum two certifications from the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI), Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA), American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers (AAADM) or Safe and Vault Technician Association (SAVTA) preferred. Valid Driver's License required at time of hire.
