Overview
The Field Service Engineer delivers technical expertise in the installation, calibration, commissioning, maintenance, and support of advanced equipment provided by our client. This role ensures optimal system performance and customer satisfaction in alignment with the company’s reputation for high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute both scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled corrective repairs on systems, following technical documentation and service standards. Tasks include disassembly, component replacement, reassembly, and system calibration using specialized tools.
- Troubleshoot and restore standard and custom equipment to operational status, addressing both mechanical and system-level failures.
- Conduct validation protocols such as Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ), including thermal mapping and cycle development.
- Lead and support installation activities systems at client sites.
- Facilitate and document Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to verify performance compliance.
- Complete all administrative requirements including service reports, calibration certificates, validation protocols, and expense documentation.
- Establish strong communication channels with clients, maintaining updates on service timelines and outcomes while upholding professional standards and customer protocols.
- Provide first-level support and field customer inquiries; escalate technical issues to senior team members as needed.
- Represent the organization with professionalism at customer sites, adhering to both internal and external safety procedures.
- Identify and communicate new sales opportunities or customer needs to internal sales and management teams.
- Collaborate and share technical insights with the client’s global network of Field Engineers.
- Perform additional duties as required to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, amp clamps, and precision calibration instruments
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID diagrams and electrical/pneumatic schematics
- Strong mechanical and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Customer-first mindset with excellent interpersonal communication
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for domestic and international travel (including passport)
- Familiarity with sterilization technologies, steam systems, and decontamination processes
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex system issues using manuals, documentation, and engineering support resources
- High proficiency in verbal and written communication in English
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent software

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
