Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Manage and optimize cloud services, particularly within Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments.
- Administer and maintain virtualization platforms, including VMware, to support scalable and resilient operations.
Active Directory and Identity Management:
- Lead the administration and maintenance of Active Directory services, ensuring secure and efficient user authentication and authorization.
- Implement and manage identity and access management solutions to safeguard organizational data and resources.
VoIP and Communication Systems:
- Oversee the deployment and management of VoIP phone systems, ensuring reliable and clear communication channels.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to integrate VoIP solutions with existing infrastructure.
Oracle Systems and Linux Environments:
- Manage and support Oracle database systems, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and availability.
- Administer and maintain Linux-based servers, including patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Security and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement security measures, including regular patch management and system updates, to protect against vulnerabilities.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Utilize monitoring tools to assess infrastructure health and performance, implementing improvements based on data insights.
- Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT infrastructure, providing regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on systems administration and network management.
- Expert-level proficiency in Active Directory, including GPO management, user authentication, federation services, and domain controller maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization platforms, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter administration, as well as virtual machine provisioning and performance tuning.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud environments, including virtual machines, Azure Active Directory, resource groups, and cost management.
- Advanced knowledge of Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and security settings.
- Practical experience with VoIP systems, including configuring PBX solutions, managing SIP trunks, and ensuring QoS for voice traffic.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Oracle database systems, including installation, backup, performance tuning, and database recovery processes.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Red Hat and CentOS, with skills in shell scripting, system security, and automation.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall configurations.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified Engineer, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
