We are seeking a highly skilled IT System Administrator to oversee and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role involves managing cloud and on-premises environments, securing endpoints, and optimizing enterprise applications to support business operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cybersecurity, cloud platforms, identity management, and virtualization, with a proactive approach to system reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer and optimize Amazon AWS services, ensuring seamless cloud operations, cost efficiency, and security best practices. Deploy and manage cloud-based applications while monitoring system performance.
- Endpoint Security & Threat Management: Implement and maintain CrowdStrike endpoint detection and response solutions to protect against cybersecurity threats. Monitor security logs and proactively address vulnerabilities.
- Identity & Access Management: Oversee Active Directory administration, including user provisioning, group policy enforcement, and role-based access controls to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Enterprise Mobility & Device Management (MDM): Manage and secure company devices using MDM solutions, enforcing security policies and compliance across mobile and desktop environments.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Support and maintain O365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user productivity.
- Virtualization & Server Management: Maintain and optimize virtualization environments using VMware or Hyper-V, ensuring high availability, resource efficiency, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices across all IT systems, conduct regular audits, and respond to security incidents promptly to minimize risks.
- System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Utilize monitoring tools to track system health, diagnose performance issues, and ensure uptime for critical infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience managing cloud platforms, preferably Amazon AWS.
- Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike or similar endpoint security solutions.
- Expertise in Active Directory, including GPOs, authentication protocols, and security best practices.
- Experience configuring and managing MDM platforms for device security and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including licensing, security, and application management.
- Solid understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of IT security frameworks, access controls, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Preferred Certifications (not required but a plus):
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- CompTIA Security or CISSP
- VMware VCP-DCV or Microsoft Hyper-V certifications
