Preventative Maintenance Technician

Entry- level position, a great foot in the door to Class Eight, heavy duty maintenance!

Position Overview: Currently, we are looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance/repair tasks on various Class 8 Semi Trucks.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am- 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Changing engine oil, change all filters, and check all fluid levels
• Accurately complete repair orders and document their statuses.
• Maintain a clean, Organized, and safe work environment.
• Ability to Maintain Inventory and Request Parts as Needed to Maintain Consistent workflow.
• Express willingness to work with others in achieving objectives set forth by the Shop Manager.
• Safely performing assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualification:

• 2 years servicing Semi trucks and vehicles required
• Must be able to understand liquid measurements.
• Ability to provide your own basic hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position (lifting up to 100 lbs., bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.)
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test and motor vehicle record check. Must not have any DUI or Drug Convictions in the last five years.
• Must be able to effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English.
