Position Overview: The Tire Technician will perform tire repairs, replacements, and alignments on our Class Eight trucks and trailers.
Schedule: 8AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday
Key responsibilities:
- Replace tires on Class Eight tractors and trailers
- Assist mechanics and shop manager as needed
- Record-keep for DOT requirements
- Perform assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Operate company equipment safely and accurately
Job Requirements:
- 1 years experience repairing and replacing tires on heavy duty tractors and trailers
- High School or GED required
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Must have adequate tools to perform tasks required
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position (lifting up to 100 lbs., bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.)
- Must have Minimum Class B CDL, Class A CDL (Preferred)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test and motor vehicle record check and not have any DUI or Drug Convictions in the last five years
- Effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English
