Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Superintendent or designee, the Transportation Coordinator is responsible for preparing and implementing a comprehensive transportation plan for students. This involves serving as the lead bus driver, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the transportation department, and performing other duties related to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and recommends an annual transportation plan for the district
- Implements transportation service plan as lead bus driver
- Oversees the daily operation of the transportation department
Requirements / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class A or B license with Passenger (PS) endorsement
- California school bus driver certificate
- Valid medical certificate
- First Aid certification
