What are the responsibilities and job description for the K-5 Education Specialist Teacher position at Lone Pine Unified?
Credential Requirements :
Valid California Preliminary or Clear Credential authorizing service in the Resource Classroom serving all disability areas (Mild / Moderate / Severe) in grades K-12 with an English Language Learner Authorization required or willing to obtain authorization.
In lieu of credential document, If currently or planning on completing a program, include a letter from the university on university letterhead stating credential type and estimated date of completion and enrollment date.
The following must be submitted :

4) Three letters of reference within the past two years.
5) Copy of valid administrative and teaching credentials.

Lone Pine is a small rural community located on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountains at the base of Mt. Whitney, approximately 200 miles northeast of Los Angeles on Hwy 395. A wide variety of recreational activities include skiing (Mammoth Lakes is 100 miles north) hiking, mountain climbing, golf, tennis, boating and fishing. The District is a K-12 school district of approximately 293 students consisting of two schools : Lo-Inyo School, a K-8 school with enrollment of 199 students, Lone Pine High School and a necessary small high school with 94 students.
