We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to ensure the financial Integrity and accuracy of our rapidly growing multifamily investment firm. This role will be responsible for:
- Financial Oversight - Maintain accurate bookkeeping, reconcile accounts, and oversee month-end closing.
- Problem-Solving & Clean-Up - Investigate and correct financial discrepancies while improving accounting processes.
- Reporting & Compliance - Assist in preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Cash Flow & Expense Management - Track budgets, process invoices, and monitor expenses for accurate cost allocation.
- Collaboration & Leadership - Work closely with the COO and accounting team to take ownership of financial responsibilities.
We seek individuals who prioritize efficiency and excellence, ensuring tasks are completed promptly and to the highest standard. The ideal candidate is sharp, precise, and solutions-driven, possessing the following qualifications:
- Experience in real estate or private equity accounting (preferred but not required).
- Ability to analyze financial records, identify inconsistencies, and resolve discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, with strong analytical skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of financial processes.
