What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Ministry Nursery Support position at Lone Star Cowboy Church?
Must be available to work during church services and weeknight bible studies.
Sunday morning church services (7:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.)
Monday night church services (6:30 - 8:30 p.m.)
Wed, Thurs (6:30-8:30 p.m.) and Friday morning (8:30 - 10:30 a.m.) during bible studies
As a valued member of our Children's Ministry, you will:
Create a welcoming and safe environment for children and their families.
Establish trust and a caring relationship with children and parents by greeting them enthusiastically.
Provide age-appropriate care, including feedings, diaper changes, escorting children to the restroom, putting babies down for a nap, holding or sitting with children and infants, and providing rest time, as needed.
Engage children in playtime, games, stories, crafts, prayer, paintings, drawings, handwork, songs, and similar activities.
Help children develop habits of caring for their own clothing and encourage them to pick up and put away toys and books.
Communicate with teachers, support staff, parents, and students positively and constructively.
Collaborate with the Children's Ministry team to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
