Job Summary
The family is seeking a long-term, nanny to provide consistent care for their 3 children (12, 10, and 6). Responsibilities include school pickup, preparing healthy, snacks and meals, driving to after school activities, and assisting with homework. The ideal candidate is active, engaged, and comfortable maintaining a screen-free environment. Family wants to ensure the nanny is comfortable with their Christian faith, being in the water, and driving children. No pets in the home.
Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 10am-6pm
Pay: $22 /hr based on experience
Children: 3 (12, 10, and 6)
Start Date: May 12th
Responsibilities
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to encourage intellectual development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of children's play areas
- Follow parents' guidelines for child behavior and discipline
- Transport children to and from activities as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children, such as in daycare, preschool, teaching, or previous nanny roles
- Knowledge of first aid procedures for children
- Ability to multitask and prioritize children's needs effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with both children and parents
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Ability to stay off your phone and actively engage with children
- Willingness to travel with the family a few weeks out of the year, and help with one-off date nights is a bonus.
