Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a motivated pre-med student or recent graduate with an interest in clinical research. A background in clinical or scientific disciplines is a plus, but we are open to candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of clinical research. While we are not requiring extensive professional experience, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advancing medical knowledge.
Desired Qualifications:
- Enrollment in or completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a clinical, biological, or scientific-related discipline
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with eClinicalWorks is a bonus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will work closely with our team to support patient screening, registration, and coordination of open clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Interaction: Participate in the recruitment and screening of patients for clinical trials, ensuring accurate data collection
- Clinical Support: Assist with clinical procedures such as drawing blood, processing samples, and obtaining EEGs
- Study Coordination: Collaborate with the research team, providers, and sponsors to ensure smooth trial operations and patient satisfaction
- Compliance: Ensure research quality through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations
- Data Management: Review and update study documentation and communicate routine trial updates to referring providers
