Job Summary:
The Human Resource Manager will work closely with the HR Director to ensure the overall compliance of policies and practices of the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department(s) within HR
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partners with the leadership/HR Director to understand and execute the organization's human resources strategy and future needs.
- Provides support and guidance to team members, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations and EEO complaints
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Analyze turnover companywide.
- Assist with new acquisitions.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must work independently with very little supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
