What are the responsibilities and job description for the Towing Dispatcher position at Lone Star Repair Service?
Lone Star Service is excited to announce an opportunity as a dispatcher out of our Stamford office. Family owned and operated since 1990, we have continued to serve the Fairfield County with pride through automotive repairs, tow service, roadside assistance and more.
A successful dispatcher must be able to take calls from AAA, emergency and roadside services, while monitoring the progress of each driver and staying in touch via phone and two-way radio.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Provide high level of customer service both on the phone and in person
- Effectively communicate to drivers, supervisors, and customers
- Create calls, bills and manage invoices for customers and accounts
- Ability to anticipate changes and adapt as necessary to plans
- Logistically and efficiently execute plans for drivers based on pending calls
- Organize and oversee impounds, maintaining accurate records of vehicles as they come in and out of impound/storage.
The right candidate will be detail oriented, adapts easily, works well with a team, and has a good understanding of logistical planning.
High school diploma or equivalent is required
