What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Youth Baseball Instructor position at Lone Star Sports Zone?
Lone Star Sports Zone has openings for a Part Time Baseball Coach to help instruct youth baseball hitting classes, consisting of players ages 8 & younger. All candidates must have great energy and enthusiasm in working with younger athletes. Past experience is preferred.
The hitting classes will be approximately 60 minutes, consisting of cage rotations that focus on different skills, drills, & fundamentals. Classes will be organized & monitored by GM Kenny Jackson. There will be no more than a 2 to 1 player to coach ratio in each cage.
Class times will be weekday afternoons & evenings, no later than 6pm.
This position may lead to more opportunities, such as instructing individual lessons.

- Be enthusiastic and high energy in working with young athletes.
- Coaching Hitters
- Teach fundamental baseball skills in a fun and dynamic manner.
- Provide guidance and support to students to help them improve their technique and reach their goals.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and interact with students of all ages.
- Patience and understanding when working with students of different skill levels.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Able to flip & throw Batting Practice.
- You are eager to learn (preliminary training).
