What are the responsibilities and job description for the BDC Manager position at Lone Star Toyota?
Lone Star Toyota is looking for a qualified BDC Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for handling all incoming calls and internet leads. This person is also responsible for hiring and training all BDC coordinators, and tracking all information in and out of the call center. The BDC Manager ensures the department meets or exceeds their goals with phone and internet sales, and keeps the management teams and GM informed of progress on all calls/internet leads that come through the center.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures there is proper staffing for all hours the departments are open. Hiring staff, training of new hires, weekly training of all staff and annual evaluations.
- Monitors all department activities. Prepares a monthly training schedule for all coordinators.
- Strives to make sure that the call center hits all objectives put in place by the dealership. Continuously looks for ways to improve the department.
- Responsible for the daily operation of the call center and ensures staff is on time and working effectively.
- Assist staff, counsel and hold accountable when necessary. Ensures all BDC coordinators work side by side with all team members.
- Ensure the daily appointment log is accurate.
- Produce weekly traffic reports that includes numbers or calls received, number of appts. made, number of shows, number of sold by employee, number of outbound calls made.
- Ensure that each staff member hands in priority follow up prior to the end of their shift.
- Track sales for payroll and submits data with accurate back up.
- Monitor all calls and leads. Make sure all leads are placed in the DMS/CRM system used by the dealership.
- Communicate with store GM and managers on issues and concerns about the store and the BDC.
- Ensure 100% follow up of all incoming sales calls and internet leads.
- Set monthly goals for the department as well as each individual.
- Ensure each coordinator is utilizing the outbound and inbound phone scripts approved by the dealership.
- Makes every possible attempt to follow-up with prospects missed by team members.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Must meet monthly requirements set by dealership for leads, calls, appointments, shows, and sold.
- Knowledge of MS Office and other desktop software helpful.
- Strong attention to detail with strong documentation skills.
- Excellent client follow up abilities
