Job Summary:
We are seeking a Night Dispatcher to join our team at Hot-Shot Trucking Company.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in hot-shot dispatch, with a strong understanding of the Oil & Gas Transportation industry and its regulations. They must also be proficient in managing and working with others in a team environment, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to calls from drivers and customers in a timely manner
- Ensure driver and dispatch efficiency, meeting customer expectations and ensuring accurate trip/ load/job recording
- Maintain open communication with drivers to ensure trips/load/jobs are performed correctly and as planned
- Provide drivers with necessary information and instructions to perform duties correctly, on time, and safely
- Maintain shop and office cleanliness on a regular basis
Schedule:
- Nights: Monday thru Friday
- Rotating weekends off
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of hot-shot dispatch experience
- Minimum 3 or more years of experience in the Oil & Gas Transportation industry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to use practical judgment when decision making and resolve operational or delivery issues in a timely manner
- Must live in the Midland/Odessa area
- Reliable transportation required
- Familiarity with West Texas and South Eastern New Mexico roadway navigation
- Ability to adjust to last minute changes in a fast-paced environment
- DOT regulations knowledge
