Job Title: Night Dispatcher

At Hot-Shot Trucking Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Dispatcher to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Regular attendance at our Midland/Odessa location is required.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in hot-shot dispatch, including scheduling trucks and trailers for loads, ensuring job completion, and effective communication with drivers and customers.
• Residency in the Midland/Odessa area is mandatory.
• Reliable transportation is essential.
• Extensive knowledge and 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Transportation industry.
• Proven track record of managing and collaborating with teams.
• Familiarity with roadway navigation in West Texas and South Eastern New Mexico.
• Advanced communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to last-minute changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Practical judgment and timely resolution of operational or delivery issues.
• Strong teamwork and initiative-taking skills.
• Understanding of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

• Handling numerous calls from drivers and customers.
• Ensuring driver and dispatch efficiency, meeting customer expectations.
• Providing a reliable point of contact for drivers.
• Recording trips/loads/jobs in the appropriate system with accuracy.
• Meeting customer requirements and communicating changes promptly.
• Staying in communication with drivers to ensure trip/load/job execution as planned.
• Ensuring drivers have necessary information and instructions for correct performance, on time and safely.
• Maintaining shop and office cleanliness.

Schedule:

• (Nights) Monday through Friday.
• (Nights) Rotating weekends off.
