Careers built to Last. Total Compensation Range is highly dependent on the path selected : $65,000 - $90,000

Lone Star is a manufacturer and service company for many blower and compressor technologies and control systems with operations around the world. We have openings in many areas of the company that are part of our EDP program.

Field Engineering - Get hands on with field experience and learn complete electrical and mechanical systems in real world applications. Extensive travel, root cause analysis, start-ups, preventative maintenance, vibration analysis, power analysis, PLC and control integration.

Production Engineering - Project Engineer, Industrial Engineer in the manufacturing, design, testing of our products in the factory.

Application Engineering - Learn the sizing and entire system design as part of the sales process, quoting, analysis, integration in support of regional sales.

Project Management - Manage projects from order receipt to start up with customer interface, scheduling, preparing submittals, and final documentation and sign off with the customer.

Required Education, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Skills :

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Takes ownership of work
  • Team Player with a positive attitude
  • High Level of technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Must be an effective planner and organizer capable of making quick decisions when necessary
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills : Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis
  • Working in a team-based environment : Working independently and as a team player to ensure our stake holders are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality
  • Quality : Maintain integrity and high standards from all perspectives
  • Safety Culture : Maintain and drive safety policies to all associates; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft systems and software
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customer including verbal and written communication
  • Sales Aptitude - Deals with high pressure / handles conflict

    This position is not remote . It will be located at 8883 West Monroe Rd, Houston Texas 77061.
