Job Responsibilities
Lone Star Turbo is seeking a Shipping Assistant who will be responsible for assisting the shipping department in ensuring that jobs in Make Ready are processing and progressing according to expectations and in a timely manner. This role will report to the Shipping Supervisor. The Shipping Assistant will ensure that all jobs passing through Make Ready meet quality control standards and guidelines (ISO 9001:2015 or later versions) by reviewing and completing the newest version of QC checklists. The key responsibilities of the Shipping Assistant include, but are not limited to, the following:

Job Responsibilities
Lone Star Turbo is seeking a Shipping Assistant who will be responsible for assisting the shipping department in ensuring that jobs in Make Ready are processing and progressing according to expectations and in a timely manner. The key responsibilities of the Shipping Assistant include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Preparing and ensuring that blowers are ready for shipping
- Pulling and packing all accessories
- Packing parts sales
- Scheduling trucks
- Arranging for collections off site
- Preparing shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels
- Communicating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely shipments
- Ensuring all shipping activities comply with company policies and legal regulations
- Handling customer inquiries related to shipping and delivery
- Keeping track of inventory levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience (1 years) working in a Shipping and Receiving environment, such as:
- Following and Adhering to International Shipping Requirements
- Packing jobs in a Shipping Environment
- Using Basic Power/Hand Tools
- Using and interpreting a tape measure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask by working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing shipping environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software (Microsoft suite) and tools.
- Preference will be given to applicants with relevant and proven experience in the blower and compressor industry in a Shipping and/or Receiving position.
