What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Activities Director position at Lone Tree Health Care Center-Pioneer Park?
- Assists in the assessment of residents in relation to their interests, talents, previous lifestyles, and time use patterns.
- Implements activity care plans which assure that all residents are provided with recreational activities that are consistent with the needs and wishes of the resident groups, individual residents, bed-bound residents, self-sufficient residents, and the community as a whole.
- Assists in establishing community and facility resources that can contribute to the activity program.
- Assists in publishing a monthly calendar of activities offered to residents.
- Maintains records relating to the participation of each resident in activity programs and documents resident acceptance or lack of acceptance to these activities.
- Secures materials, equipment, transportation (as required), entertainment, refreshments, program leaders, volunteers, and anything else that might prove necessary in order to adequately provide for scheduled activities.
- Communicates and coordinates with other department heads and staff in order to assure the success of planned activity programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
