What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Lonesome Dove Western Bistro?
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Servers to provide excellent service to our guests at our fine dining establishment, Lonesome Dove. As a Server, you will play a key role in enhancing our guests’ dining experience. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate guest needs will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
· Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu and daily specials.
· Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS system efficiently.
· Deliver orders to tables promptly and accurately.
· Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during meals and promptly addressing any issues.
· Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining room, and server station.
· Provide attentive and knowledgeable service regarding menu items and beverage selections.
· Process payments and accurately handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a server in a full-service fine dining restaurant.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure calmly.
· Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
· Food Handlers and TABC Certifications are required.
