An Associate Software Engineer (ASWE), receives direction from systems engineers, program managers, and senior software engineers. The ASWE supports agile software development teams and system integration teams in the development, validation, and management of custom software components.
Due to government clearance requirements, this position requires that the applicant be a United States Citizen. Legal residents do not meet this requirement. All work will be performed on-site in person at a secure facility. This is not a remote work position.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable desktop applications.
- Define, build, test, and deploy scalable web applications and / or microservices.
- Develop reusable, componentized UIs.
- Transforming or transferring data.
- Translating data into different formats.
- Work in a DevSecOps environment.
- Participate in agile development ceremonies (Sprint Planning, backlog grooming, story points estimation, review / retrospective, demo).
- Identify defects and system enhancements associated with the software being developed.
- Collaborate with other software engineers, systems engineers and systems integrators.
- Learning and using Lone Star Analysis software and toolsets (Evolved AI, TruNav, TruSolveTM).
- Documenting work done so that others can understand what has been done.
- Preparing data for meetings and presentations.
- Adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to company data guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
