Lonestar Electric Supply is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our Credit Management operations. Reporting directly to the VP of Credit, this role will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting credit-related data to optimize risk assessment, improve collections strategies, and enhance overall financial performance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in data analytics, and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for credit management.
Responsibilities :
- Collect, analyze, and interpret credit and accounts receivable data to identify trends and mitigate risk.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor customer credit performance and payment behaviors.
- Assess customer creditworthiness by analyzing historical payment data, financial statements, and credit reports.
- Support credit decision-making by providing data-driven recommendations on credit limits and payment terms.
- Work closely with finance, credit, and collections teams to optimize credit management processes.
- Identify high-risk accounts and develop strategies to reduce delinquencies and bad debt.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by maintaining and validating financial datasets.
- Present findings and insights to senior leadership to drive informed decision-making.
- Automate reporting and data analysis tasks to improve efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
